WHAT'S NEW? WE'RE GROWING

We're Unite for Parks, and we've been busy standing up for our National Parks in 2025 and 2026. Our first action was to defend against DOGE firings and to unify bipartisan Congressional support. We rallied congress to create a support letter -  72 members signed on! To support that, we created an Economic Report on National Parks and we delivered it to every congressional office in DC and the Department of the Interior. Then, we created a report on the effects of DOGE firings and also delivered that to decision makers.

And the results are in! National Parks will be fully funded in 2026.

 

What's next? We have challenges to meet with this administration, to keep our amazing National Park System intact and growing, and ensuring that our democracy continues to function to support America's best idea.  We love our National Parks.
