Unite for Parks is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation, protection, and expansion of America’s National Parks. Built from the ground up, our work is rooted in community engagement, strategic advocacy, and a deep commitment to preserving our nation’s most treasured landscapes for future generations. In 2025 and 2026, we mobilized to protect parks, supporting bipartisan congressional action, provided compelling economic reports, and activated decision-makers.

OUR MISSION
Our Mission is to create and expand America’s National Parks—safeguarding their beauty, supporting human health, restoring ecosystems, and preserving history and culture. We believe that access to nature, thriving ecosystems, clean air and water, and the protection of democratic processes that safeguard these public lands are fundamental human rights. By advancing thoughtful policy and community-driven conservation, we work to protect human health, strengthen civic engagement, and safeguard the National Park System as a living legacy for future generations.

OUR WORK
We advance initiatives that preserve and restore the natural world, with a particular focus on strengthening and expanding the National Park System. We believe that lasting conservation depends on people & civic engagement.
To achieve this, we organize grassroots movements, train and empower advocates, conduct rigorous policy research, and collaborate with scientists, community leaders, and legislators. We developed broad support for a National Park unit in the Sierra Nevada through consistent outreach, integrating diverse input into a cohesive proposal.
